About Us

Littlefair is an independently owned Residential Care Home for older people situated close to the centre of East Grinstead. It is purpose built, allowing for easy access and the most convenient layout of facilities.

Inside Littlefair has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard to provide a tranquil and serene environment and it is now one of the most modern and comfortable Residential Care Homes on the borders of Sussex, Surrey and Kent.

Our aim at Littlefair is to offer our Residents the opportunity to enhance their quality of life by providing a safe, manageable and comfortable environment, with support and stimulation to help them maximise their potential physical, intellectual, emotional and social capacity. We recognise that an important element in achieving this potential is the ability to make choices.

Residents are free to get up and go to bed and have a bath or a shower when they want.

A varied menu is provided with a choice of dishes freshly cooked by our chefs. Provision for special dietary requirements is also available upon request. Visitors are welcome to stay and enjoy a delicious home cooked meal with their relative.

Newspapers and magazines are delivered daily.

The shops in East Grinstead town centre are only a five minute walk away. For those unable to make the journey, we provide a weekly shopping round. The staff are always happy to shop on a Resident’s behalf.

Littlefair has its own Activities Organiser who encourages Residents to take part in both group and one-to-one events. There are many regular events and a number of visiting performers come to the Home to entertain the Residents. There are various outings organised and the Home also has use of a specially adapted bus for these.

There is a monthly ecumenical Holy Communion service and also ample opportunity for everyone to attend services at the church or fellowship of their choice. Alternatively, arrangements can be made for a chaplain or a priest to visit.

The Home has a fast broadband connection and a computer is available for Residents to connect to the internet. Alternatively a broadband connection can be provided in a Resident’s own room for a small extra charge.

We have produced a comprehensive A - Z Guide which is available in all bedrooms to inform the Residents what the Home has to offer and what services are available.
