Today we were lucky enough to be visited by MusicWorks, a summer music school who meet for a week at Brambletye. 28 students aged 14-18 had come from all over the UK and even Portugal, Romania and Belgium to be tutored in the violin, viola, cello and piano.
The students played us the most beautiful classical music. One Resident commented that it was the sort of music that made you sleepy it was so beautiful, but then jolted you awake when the music got exciting! Others commented on how enthusiastically they played, moving with the music.
All in all, an enjoyable afternoon was had and we were very grateful to the students and their tutors for giving up their time for us.
Read about it in the local paper.
